Hi All! Please be sure to check your e-mail. I just sent you all a request to see if it is possible to meet on Sunday May 17 instead of Sunday May 3 because of a personal commitment that I have on the evening of May 3. If that's not possible for most of you, we will have to see about meeting earlier in the day on Sunday, May 3, as I will have to be somewhere else by 5:00 p.m. that day!

Let me know as soon as you can and thanks!
Sam

About Me

Hi,
I'm 14 and this is my 6th(?) year in 4-H. I'm a member of the Backwoodsmen Club. Unfortunately I have been unable to make it to recent activities. Our club went bowling on Sunday and there was the County Kick-Off on Monday. I can't wait to get the cookie orders. 4-H cookies are the BEST!!!! Some project I have taken in 4-H are Horse, Air Rifle, Rocketry, Scrapbooking, Orienteering, Sheep, Knitting, Computer. Now I only do Horse, Air Rifle, Scrapbooking, Teen Leadership.
I own a dog (Reese) and horse (Niki). However, as a family we have 4 horses, 1 mini, and 1 donkey. We have 3 dogs and 1 cat. Its a good thing we live on a farm :) . We also raise chickens (there's a lot). At one point we owned sheep and hopefully we're getting more.
I'm in 9th grade at Danville Area High School. My favorite subjects are Math and Science. Spanish is fun when I can understand it. :) My extracurricular activities includes: 4-H, Band, Cross-Country, Track & Field, Lacrosse (?). For fun I like to read, ride my horse (Hence the reason for being in the Horse Project), I hang out on Facebook a lot, Hang with friends ocassionaly, Getting in trouble is always fun.... Well I really don't have a life. Thats all I have for now. Have a nice day (or night).

Hello

Hello
Last year was my first year in 4H. I am in 6 different projects within 4H, Leadership, Orienteering, Leather craft, Rabbit, Pet Care, and Vet Science. I have 2 rabbits and plan on breeding one of them and selling the other through out the year. I have a dog and 2 cats on top of that. all my animals love to play and are crazy. 4H is amazing the most recent thing my club the Backwoodsmen have done is a bowling outing. it was a lot of fun!!. The county kick off party was a lot of fun as well skating and weeing friends from camp is always a treat.
Since I started with 4H I have gone to Camp Brule and Leadership. the outings with in the differant clubs are fun as well. I am 13 and I hope you enjoy reading the blog !! :)
I'm a member of Ride With Pride 4-H group in Nothumberland County. I'm 17. I have been in 4-H for 1 year just starting my 2nd year. I do the 4-H Horse Project. I don't have my own horse yet but I ride my friend's horses. Last year I used Arco, but I don't know who I will be riding this year yet. What I love most about 4-H is the hands on approach, the way the books makes learning fun, and making new friends. Mom and Dad like it because they know I'm aways safe, with friends, and learning the things I need to know. Going to 4-H events is like going to home away from home, we are like one big family. I'm looking forword to a new year, new things to learn, and new friends in 4-H. Hope to see you there.
I am a member of the Saddle Starz 4-h group of Northumberland County, I have been a member for 3 years this is my 4th, I ride a horse named Roxy and she is my project horse for this year. What I like most about 4-h is that it's hands on I love learning by doing things, not just by sitting and book learning, don't get me wrong we do that to but it is made fun with educational games and activities. Another thing I like is the friends that you make, people that have the same obcession as you do which in my case would be horses, all of us kids and teens in our group are like a BIG family:D
